Kids

Our ministry exists to bring children to Christ in new, and interactive ways. Every week, we encourage our children to use their imagination and creativity as worship towards God. Our focus is to help each child to GROW in their relationship with Christ, to learn to SERVE their communities through compassion, to have fun by fellowshipping with their friends, and to ultimately SHARE Christ to the world!

Youth

Our ministry exists to lead 6th ­– 12th graders to discovering God, as they discover the purpose He has for their lives. Our focus is to consistently encourage teens to follow God NOW and for the rest of their lives.

The SHIFT – Young Adult & Collegiate Ministry

The SHIFT (Servants Heading Into the Future Together) is First African Baptist Church’s Young Adult Ministry, serving ages 18 – 35 who are pursuing or engaged in collegiate or workplace passions. The SHIFT Ministry exists to connect and engage young adults within the church and community; offering the opportunity to worship God and fellowship with like-minded adults. The SHIFT Ministry team is focused on building on the authentic qualities that each person brings to the ministry. We strive to study topics that are real and relevant so that all are able to connect with God where they are. The SHIFT Bible Academy is on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Women

To support women with the resources, skills, relationships, and support they need to transform their lives in a way that consistently honors God.

Men

To support men with the resources, skills, relationships, and support they need to transform their lives in a way that consistently honors God.

Singles

To provide support to singles, so that they can live out their purpose driven lives.

Couples

Our focus is to provide the resources to strengthen our relationships with others and with God.
